Living In Art
Group Exhibition, 2025
"During the pandemic, the notes I took of myself when creating art led me to make concepts and titles for the things I felt when faced with a blank canvas. My most recent work (2021-2025) ‘Till Dawn’, ‘The Day We Met’, and ‘Oh, What Big Eyes You Have’ are three (3) pieces out of seven (7) that represent ‘When The Sun Goes Down’. This study of work acts as documentation of my haunting motives and the continuing challenges that arise. The insulation foam on the wrapped canvas imitates a cancerous sponge-like consumption to enlighten knowledge on mental illness. The format of the paintings follows as shown to us by the sun from light to dark."
